I believe it's important to give children an opportunity to use words and pictures as a way to express their thoughts and feelings:

• for them to feel empowered by writing their words on the page

• feel a sense of achievement from their scribbles and sketches.

• to experiment for the sheer pleasure of putting words together so sentences dance on the page

• draw images so heartfelt they come alive.

 

Through the workshops I aim to provide an enriching and enjoyable experience that supports children's education in a dynamic and exciting way. 

 

Workshops include a combination of storytelling, drama and movement, creating and crafts, reading and writing. They follow the format of a series of games, exercises and activities designed to inspire imagination and cultivate creativity, ending with a short creative writing task.

 

There are session elements and extension opportunities attached to all workshops and they can be tailored to support a variety of needs, curriculum areas, emotions and experiences. They can be adapted for targeted work or whole class sessions and can be delivered as standalone sessions or as a longer scheme of work.

 

The workshops can be used for:

• PPA cover

• Enrichment

• Pupil Premium

 

The costs* and length** of sessions are:

• 1 1/2 hours            £75***   

 

*   Project funding bids can be written in conjunction with the school.

** Other session/course options (half day/ full day) are available.

*** A small, additional materials cost may apply to some workshops.

 

Bespoke workshops can be designed in conjunction with schools and are priced on application/agreement.

 

All work created through your school workshops can be collated and published in an Anthology. Price on application
